How You Can Help: Volunteer Opportunities
Tutoring - Are you a retired teacher or a teacher who has been affected by the economy and is currently out of work but wants to give back to the community by volunteering? OSEC promotes education and provides literacy skills that empower women. We are looking for volunteers interested in helping students with basic math and writing. Business professionals - become a LEAPP Expert!!!!!!- Are you an expert in your field and want to lead a discussion that will help to provide information to our students that will help develop them both personally and/or professionally? Our life enhancement and parenting program provides basic life and parenting workshops that help students better understand certain aspects of life that will help them become self sufficient and be better prepared for "life after the GED" Please call Karla at 216-241-0311 ext 13.
Special Event and Fundraising- Looking for an opportunity to give back? We are in need of fundraising ideas and fundraising volunteers. Looking at coordinating and leading a special event committee? Let us know! Special events are a vital part of Old Stone Education Center's fundraising activities.
